About Zyme

Zyme established itself as a formidable enterprise SaaS company for over a decade. It created an entire industry category called Channel Data Management and over the years, built a sizable portfolio of Fortune 500 customers: primarily manufacturers of consumer goods, like Sony, Nintendo, 3M, and HP, and B&O Play. Zyme was acquired by e2Open in 2018.

Our Engagement

We owned digital marketing across America and EMEA and worked as an extension of the marketing team to deliver growth and leads. Our engagement lasted for about four years until Zyme’s exit to e2open in 2018. We were responsible for all aspects of digital marketing, from social media advertising, SEO, content strategy, PPC adWords, and live event coverage.

We handled all of Zyme’s Pay-per-Click advertising on Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. The average B2B spend per month was around $1200. For a niche enterprise player, this was sufficient to consistently produce growth.

We owned Zyme’s search engine optimization campaign and put the company’s web site at #1 for the industry term they invented, “channel data management.” When we started, their competitor had taken over the top slot, but within a few months, we reclaimed it and held it until the company’s acquisition.

Zyme regularly hosted their customer summits four times a year around the world and we drove registration and awareness campaigns to reinforce high turnouts from VIP customers.

The annual Dreamforce conference hosted by SalesForce was an opportunity for our team to shine and provide “air” support for the ground team, by constantly engaging attendees on Twitter and reinforcing brand recall on the conference floor.

Employee Advocacy

Employee Advocacy is a way to leverage  free reach by using your employee strength to help promote your brand. It’s not allowed in some countries unless employees include a disclaimer on their personal feeds. We recommended that Zyme use a platform like GaggleAmp.com. With extended employee reach the idea was to:

  • Boost Engagement Rate

  • Signal to LinkedIn to extend reach

  • Strengthen employee engagement with brand

  • Encourage top-down social media engagement
